The Challenge.

ENAGB needed a website that could reflect their spirit: vibrant, community-driven, and rooted in youth empowerment. The challenge centered on three key priorities:

  • Connection: The website needed to make location-specific content easy to access, so youth could quickly find programs, events, and resources relevant to their community.
  • Continuity: Staff required an intuitive backend to keep content fresh, events current, and resources organized without technical hurdles.
  • Modern Experience: The design and user journey needed to resonate with the audience, being clean, accessible, engaging, and aligned with ENAGB’s brand.

To truly reflect the communities it serves, ENAGB required a platform that was welcoming, dynamic, and vibrant.

Our Strategy.

The ENAGB website was rebuilt from the ground up, bringing clarity, energy, and flexibility into every layer:

  • Youth-Centered Design: A modern, mobile-responsive experience aligned with ENAGB’s brand. Clean layouts, bold visuals, and simple navigation make the site engaging and easy for youth to explore.
  • Location-Aware Content Management: Content automatically adjusts by region, showing local programs, events, council members, and contact information. Visitors can also select their preferred location to explore offerings beyond their own.
  • Events & Programs at Their Fingertips: Dual calendar and list views, quick filters, and pop-up registrations make it easy to browse and sign up. Past events are archived automatically, keeping information current.
  • Structured for Growth: Resources and content are organized with flexible templates and modular blocks, making it easy to add new locations, programs, and councils as ENAGB expands.
  • Search Visibility: Keyword research and SEO best practices improve discoverability and help connect ENAGB with more youth online.
  • Empowered Management: A simple to use block-based backend, with training and documentation, gives ENAGB full control. Staff can add events, articles, resources, and updates without technical support.

The new site finally feels like us. It’s welcoming, empowering, and easy for our youth to use. Throughout the process, Troon was flexible and responsive, making it simple to bring our ideas to life. They didn’t just rebuild our website, they gave us a platform that reflects who we are and strengthens how we connect with communities across Ontario. Troon has been extremely supportive every step of the way, and the result is a site we’re proud of and confident managing.
