Alvara supports both discretionary and DAO-managed baskets (planned for future release), with current functionality enabling transparent on-chain management and automated portfolio operations.

The Challenge.
On their journey to develop an Ethereum Request for Comment (ERC) standard for basket tokens (ERC-7621), Alvara needed a partner with deep expertise in the web3 space and an understanding of the intricacies involved in developing such a complex product. A product-focused powerhouse was required, capable of taking ownership of the entire engineering vertical. This partner would not only meticulously build and scale the product to launch perfection, but also act as expert consultants, shaping the product roadmap and propelling Alvara to the forefront of DeFi innovation.

With a strong technical team by its side, Alvara Protocol successfully launched its mainnet version, becoming the first protocol to bring the ERC-7621 Basket Token Standard into production. This milestone cements Alvara’s position as a gateway to on-chain asset management and a pioneer in DeFi innovation.
The project has also delivered staking functionality, allowing users to stake ALVA tokens and earn veALVA rewards. Looking ahead, Alvara is preparing to introduce a DEX aggregator to expand token availability, deepen liquidity, and improve trade execution.
