The Challenge.
In December 2020, we had the privilege of crossing paths with Randy Wasinger, the ingenious founder of CryptoSlam.io. Randy, a solopreneur, showcased extraordinary development skills alongside an unwavering passion for collectibles and data.
“As a life-long collector of sports cards and memorabilia, I was instantly drawn to the collectability of NFTs and the need to organize NFT data in a way that made sense to both collectors and those who saw NFTs as an investment opportunity,” Wasinger said. “After launching the first version of CryptoSlam in early 2019, I saw the enthusiastic response from fellow NFT collectors and knew we could be on to something special.”
Randy was looking for a strategic partnership to help navigate the uncharted waters of the burgeoning NFT landscape. In April of 2021, Randy secured his first round of investment – the lead on this being NFT enthusiast Mark Cuban, also participating in this round was Troon Technologies.

In January of 2022, CryptoSlam raised an impressive 9 Million dollars – led by Animoca Brands and including the backing of billionaire Mark Cuban, LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman, the co-founders of Rotten Tomatoes and regional venture capital firm KCRise Fund.
