When Paul Dube and Isaac Gaither founded Troon Technologies it was built on a mutual love of conscious entrepreneurship,
passion for people and the desire to create positive social change (while building cool digital stuff).

By establishing an apprenticeship model with the Troon Academy, Troon was able to hire less-experienced employees from rural communities in Pakistan and create a bridge from classroom learning to real work experience. We put people to work who might struggle to find jobs with a good academic record but no work experience. Apprentices grow quickly as they are immediately taught a pathway to success by integrating into a team culture of software engineering. Our goal is to help underprivileged and or underrepresented people realize their potential in technology.


Troon is a talent accelerator. The 6-month, intensive training program prepares new hires to be outstanding software engineers and committed employees.


The Troon office is equipped with living quarters. This means staff who live outside the city can live there during the work week for free.

Part of building a great team is building relationships. All company successes are celebrated and frequent trips combine learning with fun.


Respecting culture, family and community means Troon offers flexible schedules to allow staff to participate in those activities that are instrumental in their happiness and personal growth.

Understanding that women in Pakistan are underrepresented in the workforce (let alone in the tech industry) only 11% of women in Pakistan are in Tech (compared to 26-30% in the U.S.). Troon has implemented an affirmative action focus to bring more women into the Troon Academy Program.
