Description:

Our Sales Director will be responsible for overseeing the sale of all technology services offered by Troon Technologies, including: custom websites, web applications, mobile apps, Blockchain development and hosting and maintenance services. This individual is often the first and the direct point of contact with a customer. The Sales Director will be in charge of ensuring a customer’s needs and expectations are met. A Sales Director should know Troon Technologies’ service very well and help efficiently guide our customers through the purchase process. Time to become familiar with all of Troon’s services, plus additional training will be provided upon hire.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads us in the creation of our corporate sales strategy
  • Continuously drives the building of a sales pipeline and effectively manages the stages of this pipeline
  • Owns the sales forecast accuracy, deal strategy development and trend analysis
  • Monitors all sales and key performance metrics
  • Acquires new customers by reaching out to leads
  • Researches customer’s individual or business technology needs
  • Serves existing customers by recommending other services
  • Coordinates meetings between customer and Troon’s management team
  • Adjusts sales tactics based on tests and new insights in the field
  • Helps to resolves customer complaints and queries
  • Maintains monthly minimum goals (following initial company orientation)
  • Completes market research and monitors competitor activity
  • Maintains documentation of customer contact and account updates
  • Attends technology meet-ups to increase visibility

 

Job Requirements & Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
  • Additional certifications and other professional development experience
  • 7 plus years of sales experience
  • Proven experience as a sales ‘hunter’ and an ability to drive strategic sales cycles and close business
  • Experience in technology sales
  • Sales CRM i.e. Salesforce.com experience
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to speak fluently to senior executives, salespeople and product managers.
  • Territory management aptitude
  • Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and financial goal minimums
  • Works independently
